The Houthi Ansarullah forces, using drones, inflicted heavy casualties on the Saudi-backed forces by killing their troops and destroying their military vehicles.

The Yemeni forces also fired a large number of artillery shells towards the Kilo 7 area that was captured by the Saudi-led coalition as well as drone strikes on their gathering sites, Almasdar News reported.

At same time, the Saudi-led coalition launched an attack against the Houthi forces in the Ulab border region of southern Saudi Arabia.

Despite the air superiority, the Saudi troops were unable to infiltrate the Yemeni defenses after several hours of fighting.

According to the official media wing of the Ansarullah forces, their troops managed to kill several Saudi-backed fighters during the battle in Hudaydah.
