Iran Enhances Accuracy, Durability of Missiles: Minister
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian military experts have managed to increase the accuracy of long-range missiles as well as the storage life of projectiles, Defense Minister Brigadier General Hossein Dehqan said.
Speaking to reporters in the northern city of Noshahr on Thursday, the defense minister highlighted the country’s progress in improving the accuracy of long-range missiles, which he described as a great technological achievement.
He also noted that the storage life of missiles has been increased to 15 to 20 years.
According to the minister, all types of short-, mid- and long-range missiles and weapons used for air defense are now being produced inside the country.
Dehqan also quashed rumors about an interruption to Iran’s war games or defense plans.
The Defense Ministry has made it clear that enhancement of the country's defense power will not be stopped even for a moment.
