Over 6,400 People Leave E Aleppo in First 24 Hours of Evacuation

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – More than 6000 people including militants have left eastern Aleppo in the first 24 hours of the evacuation operation, the Russian reconciliation center said Friday.

"In the first 24 hours of the operation, the Russian reconciliation center withdrew nine convoys carrying 6,462 people, including more than 3,000 militants and 301 wounded," the center said in a statement reported by Sputnik News Agency.

Moreover, the center also said that the withdrawal of militants and their family members from Syria's eastern Aleppo continues under the supervision of servicemen of the Russian reconciliation center.

“The withdrawal of militants and their family members out of eastern regions of Aleppo via vehicles continues at present under the supervision of servicemen of the Russian reconciliation center,” the center’s statement read.
