Sheikh Naim Qassem said the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council’s decision to designate Hezbollah as a terrorist organization has two implications: Hezbollah’s correct path and its great achievements.
The senior official said the PGCC and the Arab League’s hostile approach toward Hezbollah only serves the interests of Israel, the enemy of Islam and Palestine.
The Arab monarchies of the Persian Gulf on Wednesday declared Hezbollah movement, which has been fighting terrorist groups in Syria and the Israeli occupation, a “terrorist group.”
The six-nation council officially added Hezbollah and all groups affiliated to its so-called list of terrorist organizations.
