“In the ongoing talks (in Switzerland), we have not witnessed serious determination on the part of the other side (Saudi-backed parties),” Mohammed Ali al-Houthi said in an interview with the Tasnim News Agency.
“Their objective behind the talks is not to stop the war in entire Yemen, but they only want a ceasefire takes place in certain areas,” he said, adding that the Houthi movement want the war ends throughout Yemen.
However, the Yemeni official expressed the hope that the UN would show seriousness to end the protracted crisis in the Arab country.
UN peace talks began on Tuesday away from television cameras in Switzerland to try to end months of conflicts in Yemen.
The defenseless people of the Arabian Peninsula country have been under massive attacks by a coalition led by the Saudi regime for nearly nine months.

According to Yemeni health ministry, the death toll from the Saudi-led war so far has reached more than 6,000 people, including 1,277 children and 1,041 women.
