7 Members of Yemeni Family Killed in Saudi Airstrike

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Seven members of a Yemeni family were killed in an airstrike by Saudi-led warplanes on an area in the Arab country’s northwestern province of Sa'ada.

Three children and four women from the same family were killed on Tuesday after Saudi fighter jets heavily pounded their home in Marran area in Hidan district, Yemen's Saba Net news agency reported.

The report added that the house was completely destroyed.

Yemen’s defenseless people have been under massive attacks by the coalition led by the Saudi regime for more than 8 months.

On March 26, Saudi Arabia and some of its Arab allies, including the UAE, began to launch deadly airstrikes against the Houthi Ansarullah movement in an attempt to restore power to the fugitive former President Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi, a close ally of Riyadh.

More than 7,500 people, many of them children and women, have been killed in the Saudi-led aggression against the Arab country so far.
