Tehran, Moscow to Increase Trade Volume to $3-4 bln: Russian Deputy PM

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin said on Monday that Tehran and Moscow are resolved to increase the volume of their trade to $3-4 billion over the next 3 years.

"3-4 billion dollars," Rogozin said when answering a question on potential growth of transactions volume between Iran and Russia, Tass reported.

"So far aerospace projects have the highest degree of readiness, most likely Superjet leasing issue as well as space vehicles orders from Russia," he added.

Rogozin also said that a Russian delegation is scheduled to visit Iran in December to explore business opportunities in the Islamic Republic.

"In December a group of specialists will be sent to Iran’s all leading industrial enterprises for examining technological level and after that, closer to New Year, it will become clear how industrial cooperation with Tehran will unfold. Now I’m not speaking about traditional sectors, such as energy, including nuclear energy," the Russian deputy prime minister said.
