Hundreds in US Capital Commemorate Chapel Hill Shooting Victims (+Photos)
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – More than 400 people held a gathering in the US capital of Washington DC to pay tribute to three young Muslims who were murdered in North Carolina this week.
According to Tasnim dispatches, they condemned the brutal killing and held silent protest.
Newlywed Deah Barakat, 23, a University of North Carolina dental student, his wife Yusor Mohammad, 21, and her sister, Razan Mohammad Abu-Salha, 19, a student at North Carolina State University, were gunned down on Tuesday in a condominium about three kilometres from the UNC campus in Chapel Hill.
